Instructions for the phone bag pattern:
Foundation chain: chain 18,
Round 1: skip first 2 chains and double crochet in the next chain to the 15th chain, in the chain 16 of the row put 4 double crochet and continue to crochet around the row of chains (at the back side of the chains to create a round) until you reach towards the end, in the last chain (just before the starting point) put 3 double crochet, join the last st to the first st with a slip st
Round 2 to Round 12: chain 2, put one dc in the back loop of every st until you reach the end of the round and join the last st to the first st with a slip stitch
For the edge crochet reverse single crochet or you can crochet slip stitch along the edge. With reverse single crochet you crochet the normal single but instead of moving from right to left, you insert you’re your hook moving from left to right. That is you single crochet in the stitch before.
Phone Bag Handle:
For the handle divide the stitches or bag into two to mark the half points of the bag were you are going to attach the handle. On one side chain 120 or to your desired length and join to the other side. Turn and slip stitch into every chain until you are back at the starting point. Cut and fasten off the ends.
Sew in the button and create the button hole from the other side using a chain. The chain should be enough to cover the button on the other side. As shown below chain 13 and attach the chain back at the starting point of the chain and your button hole is done.
After joining the button hole, fasten off all ends.
