Instructions:

Step 1- The Bottom and sides

Foundation round: make a slip knot and chain ch 32. Work 1sc in the 2nd chain from the hook and mark it with a st marker. Continue with 1 sc in the next chains until you are at the end of the row. Sc 4 in the last chain. Now continue to crochet in the back of the chains, put 1 sc in the back of each chain until you are left with one chain (the back of the chain with the first sc) and put 3 sc in that chain to complete the first round.   (66)

Round 2: put 1 sc in the first stitch (remember to mark the first st). Continue with 1 sc in each stitch until you are back at the starting point.  (66)

Round 3 to round 5:  repeat Round 2. At the end of round 5 join the last st to the first st with a slip st to complete the round. (The slip st does not count as a st).

Round 6:  chain 4 (the first 3 chains represent the first dc of round 6), skip the following st and put 1 dc in the 3rd st. *Chain 1, skip 1 st and put 1 dc in the next st* repeat from * to * until the round is done. At the end of round 6, you should be left with 1 st and a slip st from the previous round. The slip st does not count as a st, therefore chain 1 and skip the other st,join with a slip st to the 3rd chain of the chain 4 we did at the beginning of the round.

Step 2: on one side of the bag count from one stitch marker at the corner 9 st and put a st marker and do the same for the other st marker on the other edge

Step 3: turn your bag and repeat the last step on the other side of the bag. Remove the st markers at the corners those you put in step 1 earlier on to remain with 5 st markers (2 on each side and the one marking the starting point).

Round 20: crochet 1 SC in each stitch from the start of the round , when you reach the next stitch marker crochet 1sc in that stitch and chain 50 or to your desired length and join the chain in the following st marker with single crochet. This is your first handle. Continue with single crochet and repeat on the other side of the bag when you reach the next st marker to make the second handle.
